What is an ERC?

ERC
stands for Emergency Response Contact. A list of 2 to 10 ERCs
can be registered, with Eyewatch during registration. These
ERCs will be sent email and sms alerts and called when you
activate an Eyewatch Alert on your mobile. An ERC may be close
family, friend, employer, security personnel, doctor, or any
one you feel may help you when you are in Emergency

Can I change my ERC Contacts from time to
time?

Yes,
you can edit or change your ERCs from the Eyewatch application
menu on your mobile phone. |

Will I be tracked continuously by Eyewatch,
upon using the service?

NO!!
Eyewatch will only track you when you set off an alert. On
deactivation of the alert, when you are safe, tracking stops.

What happens if my ERC do not answer?

Eyewatch will dial through your list
of ERCs, one by one, until someone answers.

After activating an alert, how will a user
know if the alert has been activated or not?

The
phone vibrates on alert activation, along with this it will
start taking video recordings and calling your ERC.

Does the alert get deactivated
automatically?

No, Once an Eyewatch alert is
activated, either the user can deactivate it from the
application on his phone or his ERCs can login on the alert page
on the website http://www.eye-watch.in
and deactivate alert. In both the cases, an Eyewatch alert gets
deactivated when the user or his contacts assure that he is safe
and emergency situation has been taken care of. |

Can any of the ERCs deactivate the alert?

Yes, All ERCs get a unique
alert code, which they can use to login on the alert page and
deactivate the alert after making sure that the user is safe. |

Audio that is been transmitted once alarm is triggered, is it
of the Pre alarm situation as well?

Yes, There is a part of some
seconds that is pre alarm situation and as well as of the
situation that is after the alarm is pressed. |

alert services continue?

If a
user changes his mobile phone or number, he can simply download
the Eyewatch application again from the website http://www.eye-watch.in and login using his
credentials to start using the application.

his mobile phone is switched off, Will the application
continue its functions?

If a
user activates an Eyewatch alert and his phone is switched off,
the application resumes its processes the moment the phone is
switched on again.

when an Eyewatch alert is activated? Are
there any hidden charges?

SMS sent to a user's contacts
are routed from our servers, so there is no cost which a user
has to bear. Also, there are no hidden charges in using Eyewatch
alert application, apart from user having an active GPRS/Data
connection. |

services?

Any
personal details which a user shares while or after registering
for Eyewatch alert services are secured and stored in encrypted
format which are displayed only to his trusted contacts when he

capture location by a smart phone for location based services.

activated locally on the mobile phone, Eyewatch will then wait
till the mobile phone receives network and then start the alert

an Eyewatch alert is activated.

every service provider charges from the customer for the usage
of GPRS. But say if a customer doesn't have credit balance on
their phone, so does this service still work?

If an Eyewatch alert is
activated and user has no credit in his account however has an
active data connection, few features like the audio, video and
location along with sms alert will go out to ERCs and features
like auto call will not connect a user to his ERCs as he has no
credit to make calls. |

If for instance a user deletes the icon of
Eyewatch from his phone. Then what is the procedure of getting
the link again? Any charges for the same?

If a
User deletes the Eyewatch icon or application, he can either go
to the website http://www.eye-watch.in
& download the application again or he can also sms "Eyewatch"
to 53030, to get Eyewatch application. There are no charges
for downloading Eyewatch Basic again.

The Audio that is been transmitted once
alert is triggered, is it of the Pre alert situation as well?

Yes, the Pre Alert Audio is of
up to 30 seconds of sound recorded by the phone before the Alert
is set off. |

If after pressing the alert button, the
phone is switched off, then what? What about the coordinates,
pictures, audio etc. Will it still relay this information?

The
Eyewatch application will transfer this data, as soon as the
phone is switched on. Once it is switched off, no information
can be sent. |
